How Kard solves the problem

Traditional gift registries and paper invitations can be costly, impersonal, and environmentally unfriendly. Kard offers a modern platform where guests send personalised digital cards and monetary gifts, simplifying the gift-giving process and enhancing the host’s experience.

Three kinds of card

The guest chooses and pays for the card. It never comes out of your gift.

You decide who covers the fee

No competitor offers this: when you set up your event, choose whether guests cover Stripe’s processing fee, split it with you, or you cover it yourselves. Same $100 gift, same photo card, three honest outcomes. There is no subscription or listing fee either way.

Questions

How much of the gift do we receive?
It depends on the option you choose for your event. If guests cover the processing fee, you receive the full $100 on a $100 gift. If you split it with them, you receive $97.80. If you cover it yourselves, you receive $95.60. You set this once per event, not per gift.
What does it cost us?
Nothing by default. There is no subscription and no listing fee, and the guest always buys their own card. The only cost is whatever share of the 4% processing fee you choose to absorb, which is none of it if you pick the default.
Do guests need an account?
No. They open your link, pick a card, write a note, and pay.
When does the money arrive?
Cash out whenever you like. Transfers usually reach your bank within two business days.
Can we see who gave what?
Yes. Every gift is listed with the guest, the amount, and their card. Download the whole list as a spreadsheet.
